Sandi Falconer is an illustrator and printmaker currently living in Windsor, Ontario.

Sandi enjoys drawing houses, landscapes, words, and people or animals with expressive dots for eyes. Playful but bold, cute but anxious, her subjects often emit a lot of emotion despite their light-hearted composition.

Sandi has also been screen printing for over 15 years, and this medium’s textures and limitations have influenced her illustration style. Sandi’s home studio is called Fountains Print Shop. Making things with her hands has always been an important part of her art practice.

If you’ve been around for a while, you may know Sandi from some of her past printing projects: Tough Luck Co. (cards and prints and clothing), Falconwright (leather accessories made with partner Danielle Wright), and Deadweight (posters and prints and cards).

Coming to visual art through a music background, a DIY approach has always been a big part of Sandi’s art practice. The first things she ever made were gig posters, and this is where she fell in love with hand-lettering which continues to be a very big part of her work today.
